Matted/Knotted Dogs

Matted/Knotted Dogs will be charged between £5-£25 Extra. Grooming prices are for dogs that are matt/knot free and combed regularly. Prices are non-negotiable.

Cancellations

Clients who repeatedly miss appointments will be required to pay in advance for their appointments. We reserve the right to not offer further appointments. Cancelations must be made by telephone or by message in accordance with our opening hours. Mon-Fri 9am to 4:30pm. If you cancel within 48 hours of the appointment, you will be required to pay 50% of the total cost.

Collection & Drop-off times

Please attend your appointment on time. Being as little as 15 minutes late delays the grooming session not only for your dog but those booked in for the rest of the day. It is, therefore, unlikely that we will be able to groom your dog due to timing. Your appointment will be cancelled, and a 50% charge will apply. Please be considerate and collect your dog on time as we charge a late sitting fee. Please do not arrive BEFORE you have been called to collect as this disturbs the grooming process and we may not be able to continue.

Late Collection Charges

Once your dog has been groomed, we will call you to collect your dog in an agreed time frame. We understand that traffic and meetings can cause a delay in collecting but please understand we are unable to keep your dog for any reasons other than grooming. Due to the lack of space and disturbance to other dogs being groomed, anyone who fails to collect their dog after 20 minutes of the timeframe agreed with us will be charged a sitting fee. Our sitting fee charge is £5 for every 20 minutes you are late to collect.

Toileting

Please ensure your dog has been walked and toileted before bringing them to be groomed. Please do not use our premises as a toilet area for your dog. All dogs should be toileted before their appointment. Should your dog toilet in our salon causing us to re-wash your dog, an additional “wash only” charge will be added on to the groom. If your dog struggles with toileting, please let us know so we can accommodate for them.

Fleas

Please note that we will refuse to groom any dogs with fleas. We will be happy to give you guidance on how to effectively treat it, however, we cannot risk bringing fleas into our salon.

Deposits

As per our cancellations policy, clients who consistently cancel will be required to pay a deposit or the full cost to secure their appointment. This protects the business from missed appointments. Upon completion, you will be charged the difference between the full cost and the deposit paid (if full cost has already been paid, then no further charges will apply).

Aggressive behaviour

We try our best with aggressive dogs and we understand it can be a stressful situation for them (although we try our best to make it as pleasant as possible). However, if we have exhausted our options and your dog is so aggressive that it cannot be worked on, we will have no choice but to call you back to collect your dog. Unfortunately, a 50% charge will still apply.

We have a no tolerance policy with aggressive behaviour from the client, any abuse will result in a permanent ban.
